Falkenstein Estate

Falkenstein has its own idyllic atmosphere. A modern farm in partially historic buildings, then further down to the valley, the remaining buildings of the former outer bailey and finally the view from the orphaned stable on the rock. I think it is easy to imagine how a fortified castle once overlooked the valley from the rock.

The beauty of the Eselsburger valley can be enjoyed very well with a view from the former castle rock.

Numerous well-marked hiking and biking trails lead through the beautiful and attractive landscape conservation area.

Definitely take the path with the sign "to the view". Here you first go down a small path. Then up a steep, narrow staircase again. Hold the railing firmly.
There is also an easier way. Just walk to the Falkenstein building and across the courtyard.
