Jameln is a big Rundling. It has three of the oldest two-column houses in Wendland, but also shows architectural errors from the 1970s that were planted in place of the old houses. The third oldest from 1719, the "Old House", thatched roof, is a Michelin-starred restaurant for "resilient locals and winey important", as a national news magazine puts it. Is currently being renovated and will open again at the end of February (as of January 2020).
