First stop in Hundisburg on the way to Wendland. Beautiful, spacious landscape park and also a great castle complex.

Von Beucha nach Wurzen
Strecke verläuft viel im Wald und es ist noch eine schöne Fährfahrt dabei. Im Fährhaus Drewitz kann man auch einkehren.

Last hike of this vacation. It was nice and it would have been even nicer if it hadn't been so hot. Then motivation is a bit lacking and everything is so strenuous.
The Northern Vosges offer a beautiful, shady forest and the many castles provide variety on the hikes.

The start and end point was the Fleckensteinweiher, where you can swim well. This provided the incentive for this short but varied round.

What a pretty town. So many beautiful old houses, alleys and few tourists. It was really worth it despite the heat.

A beautiful forest tour with pretty little lakes. I skipped the Falkenstein castle ruins, it was too hot for the ascent.

Not much altitude gain, but in the heat I was almost at my limit.
The castle is very imposing and luckily had a café where I could recover with cake and a drink.

The phone failed rather than me in the heat. After restarting, it worked again.
Once again a promising tour, which I would have enjoyed more at lower temperatures. The ascent was quite tough.

Through a lot of shady forest, but in the Nemitzer Heide it got quite hot. The delicious cakes in the Heidehaus make up for the effort.
