Very nice ferry that takes you from the west bank to the east bank in Ostend (or the other way around). The boats bear the colorful stamp of artist Roger Raveel. The crossing is short but very enjoyable and a nice addition to your walk. You can find the timetable here: agentschapmdk.be/nl/veerdiensten/veerdienst-oostende

Roger Raveel and The Red Square on the Sea are easily accessible for wheelchair users. They are accessible from the quay via a gentle ramp. The springs are also eco-conscious. They run on low-sulphur fuel and all areas are heated by means of recuperation from the engines.
The colorful feathers stand out and bear the typical Roger Raveel stamp. The design is also by the hand of artist Roger Raveel. He also chose the names of the feathers. Roger Raveel has a thing for both DAB Vloot and Ostend. At the end of the 1980s, Raveel painted a series of murals in the 'Loodswezengebouw', which start in the hall and flow into the corridors.

The harbor ferry connects Ostend's city center with the eastern harbor area. The ferry runs regularly during the summer months. The crossing is free of charge.
