The stone church was built in the 13th century. The tower was built in 1600.

A really beautiful, historic building that stands in an exposed location. There is still a lot to discover around it, it's worth staying a while.
The church tower was added another storey in the 15th century and covered with a new tent roof. The floor houses the tower clock and the belfry.

Flat-roofed field stone building, mid-13th century. The ship-wide west transverse tower with coupled sound openings under pointed arched panels is late Gothic, the bell floor with brick edges is late 15th century.
Repaired in 1830, the windows were changed. The three pointed arch portals in the north and south walls were added, the west portal was added in the 19th century. 2011 repair of the tower.
Interior plaster ceiling, remains of medieval wall painting on the north and east walls, some of them scratched. The original three-sided gallery was converted into a west gallery.
The organ in 1889 by Albert Hollenbach from Neuruppin, restored in 1970 by Hans Voit from Rathenow.
