On a clear day, especially when there is a foehn, you have a magnificent view. Heiligenberg-Steigen lies in the foreground directly below Bellevueplatz. Then the Salemertal spreads out and behind Lake Constance you can see the striking profile of Säntis and Altman. With good visibility you can even see the Pilatus on Lake Lucerne.
A large wooden cross behind the bench at the lookout point also indicates that the Heiligenberg Friedwald begins here.
