The "Hohe Saubad" (858 m above sea level) is a typical rock bastion of the Steinwald Nature Park. The steep climb to the summit is worth it - the view to the west over a sea of treetops is worth the effort. The block sea of angular granite stones below the viewpoint moves as "Steinerner Glacier" down the valley - of course, extremely slow and therefore not visible to us, but the lack of vegetation is a visible proof.

At the High Saubad 858 m. above sea level. NN is located below the summit a steep block pile of angular granite rocks, which trickle out of the summit and crash. The block sea moves slowly as "Steinerner glacier" down to the valley and one finds there therefore no fouling. The summit offers an excellent view to the west. Several regional hiking trails are about 200m away from the Saubadfelsen.
