The parish Jetzelsdorf is a Josephine parish foundation. It was detached from the parish Pfaffendorf in 1784 and has since been incorporated into Göttweig Abbey. After the founding of the parish, the old parish church was built instead of a small chapel. When the old church became too small, the new parish church was built in 1975 and 1976 by Hans Hoffmann. After completion and consecration of the new church, the old church was profaned in 1976. At first it stood empty and was abandoned to decay. Since it was located on the main road for a long time as a traffic barrier, it should have been demolished. With the establishment of a bypass of Jetzelsdorf in the 1990s, the former church was renovated by the population. Since then, it has been called the "Wine Church" and used as a wine shop and venue.de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weinkirche_Jetzelsdorf
