Hiked from Mönichkirchen via Hallerhaus and Steinerne Stiege to the Hochwechsel in great weather today. The plan was to ride the scooter back down from the mountain station, but we didn't make it there in time and then hiked straight to the valley station.

Actually we wanted to go to Weyer via the Ennstal cycle path, but unfortunately it was closed due to forest work (and will remain that way for almost 3 weeks). We couldn't and didn't want to wait that long, so back to Großraming and across the main road to Weyer. On the way over to the Neustiftgraben we passed a beautiful old house. When the lady of the house saw that we were taking photos from a distance, she kindly waved us closer and showed us how lovingly she has designed the yard and garden ♥.Then we went on and up to Maria Neustift, where we spoiled ourselves with coffee and cake before we made the last stage back to our quarters.Tomorrow we will unfortunately go home again, but on the way back we want to stop again in Waidhofen and cycle the Ybbstal cycle path, which we still have fond memories of last year, to Hollenstein and back 🚴♀🚴♂ - where we are already in the Proximity are 💁♂🤷♂

Today we used the wonderful day for a bike excursion into the Reichraminger Hintergebirge in the Kalkalpen National Park. The bike path is laid out on a former forest railway and leads through countless tunnels. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Also feasible as an alternative route to the classic Ennstal cycle path: From Altenmarkt near St. Gallen an der Enns down the Laussatal to Dörfl (Unterlaussa), from there the serpentines up to Mooshöhe (300 m) and from there steadily downhill to Reichraming, where you get back encounters the Enns. That's how I did it with friends in 2013, back then without an e-bike. A stop at the Mooshöhe or at the Klaushütte approx. 6 km before Reichraming.

Today cycled the Enns Cycle Path from Großraming to Steyr 🚴♂🚴♀, and after a lunch break combined with a short sightseeing tour back again. More vertical meters than one would generally expect from a river bike tour (but thanks to Komoot planning we knew it beforehand 😉) ...
