Træskohage Lighthouse

The lighthouse was built in 1904 and is 13 meters high.
It was taken out of service in 1982 and handed over to the Nature Conservation Agency.
It started to sink more and more. But in 2017 the entire tower was renovated
and now serves as a lookout point.
There are tables and benches at the lighthouse for a rest.
Park at the hotel and walk along the building, keep right and go to the water.

Træskohage is a beautiful and easily recognizable landmark - or a lighthouse if you will - for the area around Stouby and the Vejlefjord Hotel on the north side of Vejle Fjord. The bird and observation tower is a popular destination with a fantastic view over the city.
