The Granville Street Bridge is a steel truss bridge. It bridges False Creek, connecting Vancouver with downtown Vancouver. Most of their length (about 90%) leads the bridge over land and only a small part over water. Part of the stretch of land at the southern end it spans is Granville Island.
The bridge is heavily used because Highway 99 leads over it.
