Zipfelsalpe

Nestled in alpine pastures, the Zipfelsalpe (open from 19 June to 1 November in good weather) invites you to take a leisurely break. An incredibly beautiful view over the Hintersteiner valley is guaranteed. hinterstein.de/partner/zipfelsalpe

Already because of the nice alpine woman and her husband who manage the Zipfelsalpe. There is the best coffee (be sure to order with milk) and delicious cakes and snacks. The whole thing is offered in a fine mountain backdrop above the Hinterstein Valley. But it can also be reached via the Wannenjoch or Schattwald.
The fastest way to get there is via the very steep and gravel cattle trail from Hinterstein (church). The way down is not recommended. Then you'd better go back over the Zipfelbach.
