Zipfelsalpe

Delicious food and cold drinks in a great location! The panorama is stunning and the chickens peck under the benches. The fact that you have to walk through the cow pasture to get to the hut is fascinating, and not just for the kids.

Already because of the nice alpine woman and her husband who manage the Zipfelsalpe. There is the best coffee (be sure to order with milk) and delicious cakes and snacks. The whole thing is offered in a fine mountain backdrop above the Hinterstein Valley. But it can also be reached via the Wannenjoch or Schattwald.
The fastest way to get there is via the very steep and gravel cattle trail from Hinterstein (church). The way down is not recommended. Then you'd better go back over the Zipfelbach.
