Wildfräuleinstein Cave

A great destination especially for children. There is great climbing here and two benches invite you to linger. In addition, a small board describes the history of the place.

Not far from the Zipfelbach waterfalls is the legendary home of the wild maidens. The starting point of our hike is the chargeable hiking car park at the end of Hinterstein.
At the "Grüner Hut" inn, a path leads in many serpentines up the steep slope to the "Köpfle" lookout point. From there, the path towards the Willersalpe runs almost evenly to the caves.
Those who shy away from the direct ascent (200 meters in altitude) can take the first turn-off "Bärenweg" or take a more leisurely hike from the parking lot to the Willersbach and then back to the caves or take a very nice tour.
