"Since about 1750, pilgrimage to the scourged Savior on the meadow" can be read on the granite tablet. Around this chapel are miraculous origins and healing stories, which can be found on the information board and it is visited several times a year in the context of pilgrimages. The name "Einsiedelkreuz" derives from the fact that a hermit once lived in the forest behind it.
