In the municipality Rappottenstein in the Waldviertel is the Sculpture Park opened in 2012. On an area of approx. 3000 m² over 200 unique pieces are exhibited. Free admission. Open around the clock. SOURCE: kunst-zwingt-rost.at/park.html
Not far from Gutenbrunn, in the south-western part of the Waldviertel, the Edlesberger See spreads out between forest, meadows and bogs. With an area of around 14 hectares, it is one of the ten largest swimming lakes in Lower Austria
Through shady forest and across wide fields and meadows, it goes along the route of the former local train Göpfritz - Raabs. The bike path on this section is flat and nicely paved. It is really fun to cycle.
