Where freight trains rode up to Fehrbellin in the Havelland up to the middle of the 90s, one can cycle for a good year through the Havelländische Luch and the Rhinluch. The "Silent Pauline" is a bike path that runs from Paulinenaue to Neuruppin mostly on the former branch line.
Finest asphalt and only minimal gradients on the almost dead straight road provide carefree cycling happiness. From the end of the 19th century, the line provided Neuruppin's first railway connection to the economically important main line to Berlin, on which today the ICE race to Hamburg. Traveling by train is recommended on the same line as the Regional Express, which does not even take 40 minutes from the city of Berlin to Paulinenaue.

Bicycle path on the former railway embankment of the railway line Fehrbellin - Paulinenaue. (Still) intact surface invites you to leisurely cruising as well as speedy racing cycling.

A fantastic nature experience! Shortly before Fehrbellin there is a table with historical information on agriculture under Frederick II.
