Today's fresh mixed weather situation 🤔☁️🌥️🌬️ cannot convince me. I sleep in and do a Regio Tour. On the way two overdue service errands and once again to the milk filling station take sausage from the water buffalo 🐃 with you.Today I take the path through the Krämer forest from the break. In Schwendet I was promptly caught by an unmotivated wandering rain cloud. Before I follow him again via Bärenklau, there’s a little break 😁🥖🍖Not a great discovery tour today, lots of colorful flowers 🌼🌺🏵 on the edges of the fields, that's why I love June ☺️

Heartwood got family free today and joins my tour today. 😎 🚴‍♂️ + 🚴‍♀️ I use the construction schedule of my regional train and have a good connection to the train to Küstrin Kietz.
Here we start on the Oder cycle path to the south. ⤵️
We pass the slopes of the Oder near Lebus, where, in addition to other steppe plants, the Adonis 🌼 bloom in spring. Today here only meters high meadow
We continue to Frankfurt / Oder. We take the official route along the road, the large lawnmower 🚜 is currently taking a walk on the Oder meadows.
The tour continues to Brieskow-Finkenheerd. From here we follow the Friedrich Wilhelm Canal on a beautiful path. One of the oldest inland waterways in Germany. The first connection between Oder and Spree on the trade route between Wroclaw and Hamburg. The canal is a listed building. For the completion in 1668 oak forests were cleared in the entire area. After that, the first pine forests emerged 🌲🌲🌲🌲 in monoculture because they grow so quickly. We follow it to the confluence with the Oder-Spree Canal and branch off south here , Direction Schlaubetal. We ride on a beautiful bike path towards Mixdorf. We cross the Schlaube at the Ragower Mühle and have a rest with coffee ☕ cake 🎂 and mineral balance 🍻.
The Schlaubetal Nature Park is a popular hiking area. However, there are bans everywhere because of the swine fever 🐗 They have been with us since the start of the tour.
We continue a good 10 km and head for the Schneeberg train station. The destination is reached after a good 75 km.
That was a very nice route. Mostly just roll 🚴‍♀️ on asphalt. Diverse landscape. The weather is still airy with up to 33 degrees on the display in the 🌞 A nice, entertaining day with a hearty company. Nice that you were there 👍The return journey by train is made up of obstacles like wedged wheelsholz in heartwood ert and mine chugs leisurely afterwards 🚞 missed the connection .... let's see when I arrive 🤔Here heartwood view of the tour.

Today the trip goes around the Great Plöner See. 🏞 The first stop is the city of Plön. There is also an observation tower here, the Parnassus Tower. This was built in 1888 and offers a view of 85 meters above sea level.
The town's landmark is of course Plön Castle 🏰 It is one of the largest preserved castles in Schleswig-Holstein and was once the summer residence of Danish kings. Built during the 30 Years War, its style is somewhere between Baroque and Renaissance.
But you can hardly get it on the photo 📷 Up on the Schlossberg you can't see much, nothing at all from the old town. From the pier of the Prinzeninsel, to which I am making a detour, you have a beautiful, but far away view.
Now it's all about the lake, but with small detours. The paths directly along the lake are solid sand and gravel paths, sometimes a bit bumpy because some of them are stony. All around you drive on mostly small roads with little traffic through a varied landscape. Everything always up and down, of courseI'm on the move janz dichte near Berlin and come into the wide world. 😁Back at the lake, I look for a stop. Find a hotel by the lake, 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐
.... ask if I can eat on the terrace, yes ... I should connect the bike in front of the hotel. I only see a parking lot with cars but no bike racks. I'll just take the Hausschil e ... come out on the terrace, few guests there. I'm looking for a place, more guests are coming. A waiter is a long time coming. When he comes, the other guests are in front of me. Then he asks what I want ... I would like the menu ... yes, he could bring it, but warm food would not be available until 5 p.m., just that I know ... my jaw is almost down. .. Departure of the first act.
Well, because ... I'm going on, another 20 km to my destination. Unfortunately, my inn is closed 😐 I pass the ferry house next to it. Warm meals only from 5:30 p.m. 🙄 that's still an hour away ... Second act.
Third act ... although I had a fresh shower, I no longer feel like having a break and drive pragmatically to the next supermarket. There is now pork chops 🥩 with potato salad for 4 € and I also have a wheat mix ready to hand. 🍺 .... is possible 😉

After the beautiful days on the Schlei, I have planned an extension in Holstein Switzerland. 😎
After arriving there early, I immediately get back on my bike and do a lap.
First I drive in a curve to the Holzberg. At 90 meters there is an observation tower with a view of Holstein Switzerland. The first tower was built here as early as 1908 as the Bismarck Tower and torn down 10 years later. Tower number 2 was then in 2005. This was only 12 years. The third tower, 30 meters high, has stood here since 2020. If someone ran the battery empty on the way up 😉 there are 2 E-BIKE charging stations on the mountain ⚡
We continue along the Kellersee. Before I go to Eutin, I hang a loop on it, over 7 mountains, but without 7 dwarfs 🚵‍♂️.The way back leads below Lake Eutin to Eutin, the birthplace of Carl Maria von Weber. Here I take a look at the Residenzschloss (scaffolded of course 🙄, which I get cleverly positioned 📷) with the spacious English garden.
For daily calorie balancing, I will find what I am looking for in the brewery on the market. There's a hearty burger 🍔 and a home-brewed red beer here. 🍺
I can get dessert directly at the market, if that were done for today. 😊
Via a never-ending forest path, it's back to the start.Today another day with plenty of sun ☀️☀️☀️ The lady 💃⚡ had a lot to do today because of the undulating landscape. This changes behind every curve. Lots of beautiful mixed forest, meadows, fields and lots of lakes. Beautiful here.

Today we want to cycle on the Schlei. We start in Missunde, start on the northwest side of the Schlei and drive up to Arnis.
On the way we come through Ulsnis, where a giant 😱 once lived ....
In Lindau we stop by the "country doctor" and are lucky, we come to the train without an appointment or waiting time, according to the motto ... I want to be here, I can go in here. 😊 You grab a place card in the courtyard, go to the cake buffet 🎂🍰☕ choose, pay, enjoy at the table ... back out on the terrace. A doctor that conforms to Corona ... oops café visit 😁In Arnis, take the ferry to the other side. Next a very nice path along the Schlei to Sieseby, the Schleidorf with numerous beautiful thatched houses.
Unfortunately, the place is jam-packed here.
It continues in a curve over beautiful secondary routes through the rapeseed fields.
The search for hospitality that promises a warm welcome is now difficult. 🤔 The small Café Grünlund is overcrowded, other potential options are closed. When we are really hungry, we are admitted in Kosel in the late afternoon. 🍕🌮🍺
Now the last stretch over Weseby, where the "Great Width" of the Schlei opens up. The forest is MTB route and more suitable for hikers. But ladies 💃⚡ and witches 🧙‍♀️🧹 can do it.
The loop here is up to 4.2 kilometers wide. The narrowest point is only 135 meters.
In Missunde, the cable ferry takes you to the other side.
This was our third and last round in the Schlei region. Those were wonderful days, we had a lot of fun together and to top it off 👑 the weather 🌤 was also perfect. We say goodbye and look forward to the next meeting. That should be in three weeks ... because today is not every day, we'll be back, no question 😁😎

Today we go along the Baltic Sea coast towards Geltinger Bay. We start in Arnis, the smallest town in Germany with only 300 inhabitants. 🤔 👉
Via Kappeln you go to Maasholm at the mouth of the mucus. A small, idyllic fishing village. This is also where the nature and adventure center is located near the Oehe Schleimünde sea bird sanctuary.
At lunchtime, the sun 🌤 pushes through the clouds.
Along the coast you go to the NSG Geltinger Birk, a paradise for water birds🦆🦢 and home of Koniks, an original pony breed from Central and Eastern Europe 🐎 and Galloways 🐂 who are practically active here as landscape conservationists.
On the way we pass the listed lighthouse Falshöft, which happens to be open to the public.
The way back then leads through Gelting via branch lines to Kappeln. Nice to drive.
On the way we stop at "Dat Mundjevull" which means something like "Die Gusche full" 😄. A nice little café with delicious cakes 🍰 and small dishes. From June there will be a chef again, so that the menu offers more again.
In Kappeln we pass Amanda, at 32 meters the highest mill in the region. Unfortunately currently not available for viewing.
We lick another 🍦 at the harbor and enjoy the sun 🌞.
Short change of plan, we are still driving over the Schlei and want to get to the ferry to Arnis from behind. Think 😶, we missed the last ferry 🛶. Who thinks something like that 🙄 In short Beg my companions shuttle me over to the other side, where my 🚗 is.
That was a really wonderful tour today 👍 great to drive, wonderful views over the Baltic Sea and into nature.
In the afternoon the sun got stronger and warmed up more pleasantly. The wind is still cold.

The first day of my vacation takes me and my friends to the Hüttener Berge Nature Park, the smallest nature park in Schleswig-Holstein 🏔
Ulli recently bought an e-bike, which I named Little Witch 🧙‍♀️🧹. So we are well prepared for the Holstein mountains and the wind 🌬
We start and end in Eckernförde. We make a stop on the 98 meter high Aschberg. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view. We continue along the Bistensee 🏞 to the Nord Ostsee Canal. From here we work our way back towards Eckernförde. Shortly before the end we stop in the beer garden of the historic Gasthof Grüner Jäger.
Among other things, there are schnitzel 🥩 in various variants. We choose three of them. 😋
I synchronized my tour from the Rox today, because my watch recognized an "event" 😱 while climbing around on Bismarck's boots and sent a signal to the emergency contact, the tour then breaks off. The callback wasn't long in coming and it was really exciting. The watch sends a GPS signal via SMS. In the event of an actual emergency, help can be sent. Nice thing. 👍The sun was still rare today ⛅ the wind was crisp and cold as soon as the sun hid.
