The Quellitzsee is a smaller recreational lake for anglers and water sports enthusiasts, the lake is used for local recreation. There is an inn, a beach with a sunbathing area, sports equipment, and a beautiful circular path leads around the lake.

The Quellitzsee was built in 1972 and is a nice little recreational lake. The quellitzbach flows in, the footpath around the quellitzsee is almost two kilometers long.

The Quellitzsee was built in 1972 and has a capacity of around 150,000 cubic meters of water. The inflow is the Quellitzbach, the outflow is the southern Regnitz. The dam has a height of 8 meters with a water depth of up to 6m and a length of 80m.
