The market hall was opened in 2014 and has become a popular meeting place for the residents of Fuchsmühl. Previously, this was the site of a restaurant that had been empty for a long time. A village shop is complemented by a butcher's shop and a bank's service point. The Nature Conservation Association and the Steinwald Nature Park's office are also housed there. The municipality invested a lot of money in this. Fuchsmühl's own contribution - after deducting state subsidies - was around 1.19 million euros.
