Curbar Edge is a gritstone escarpment that affords spectacular views. With rocks to scramble upon, moorland trails, picnic spots, scenic woodlands, plus more, there’s plenty to explore. It's one of the only places in the Peak District where you can observe adders, too (take care with dogs).
The light here can be wonderfully cinematic, especially at sunrise and sunset. All in all, a fantastic place to explore and admire the varied landscapes of the Peak District.

Very popular flat area at the top of Curbar and Stanage edges, with strange rocks. I could even swear I saw master Yoda somewhere!
