The small path here is very stony and also somewhat rocky - is definitely worth a walk. Can be reached via the Brauselayweg or the Unterconder Kreuzweg.
Beautiful views of the Cochem Imperial Castle, Winneburg and Ebernach Monastery.

The view of the Reichsburg, from the opposite Moselle position on the way from Cond to Valwig z.b. is worth every Kraxeltour!
The Höhenburg is the landmark of the city Cochem and stands on a highly visible mountain cone in 154 m NHN.
In the Middle Ages, the castle served as a customs castle, it was built around 1100. Of course, the Reichsburg belongs to the buildings, which were later destroyed and rebuilt and the owners changed more often. So it was destroyed in the 17th century and rebuilt by the Berlin merchant Ravené after the then style of the years from 1868 to a good ten years later.
Today, the imperial castle is a listed building and a protected cultural monument and registered in the state's monument list.
