The Church of S. Erasmo was built in the 1930s by the workers who built the Cancano 1 dam and was part of the small village created to host the management of the then Milan electricity company during the summer months. With the construction of the new dam in the 1960s, and with the consequent increase in the reservoir level, the small church was carefully dismantled by the operational staff, the bricks were numbered one by one and everything was rebuilt in its current position.
