Moritz von Wedel – Parlow (1805-1900), a very religious man, built a village church at his own expense. This church is a single-nave, Romanesque brick building with an apse and west tower, which was consecrated in 1860. The bells by the bell founder Carl Friedrich Voß from Stettin were consecrated in 1863.
