The pacifier tree (in Danish: Suttetræet) is located in the northeast of the historic Frederiksberg Have park in Copenhagen. When children turn about three years old and the pacifier phase is over, they bring their faithful companion to the tree. They hang it up with colorful ribbons and often leave small, handwritten farewell letters to ease the transition to being a "big kid".
