In the Stone Age Cave, visitors are transported back to the Paleolithic thanks to the artificial rock backdrop and experience the change in climate, landscape and animal world from then to now. The cave is a faithful replica of the southern French "Grotte Chauvet" with cave paintings. An exciting film provides information about the formation of the Bavarian Forest. The Stone Age Cave is located on the almost three-kilometre-long circular path through the animal enclosure in the Falkenstein National Park Center (marked “wild animals circular path”) and is barrier-free.
