The large statue of Frau Holle looms up here on the castle hill above Ulfen.
From the second half of May until late autumn, and if you're lucky even until the first frost, Ms. Holle's walk-in flower meadow blooms in all colors.

The flowering meadows are important for the survival of insects, but the human eye delights in the 41 predominantly colorful wild and cultivated plant species that fill the buffet for bees, bumblebees, butterflies and many other insects.
