The "Webersbrunnen" did not get its name from Georg Weber, but from his oldest son Heinrich Weber. Dr. phil. Friedrich Percy Weber (1844-1895 in Berlin), a son of Georg Weber, editor and writer, bequeathed 300 marks to a non-profit organization (which one?) By will. On February 7, 1896, the same association decided to use the amount of the Weber Foundation to mount the spring in the Küblerschen Wiese in the form of a stone wall, to lead the spring close to the driveway, to provide a bench and then to honor the entire complex to name the founder "Webersbrunnen". At the general assembly on March 3, 1896, the resolution of the committee of the non-profit association of February 7 was expanded to include the name "Webersbrunnen" as a memory and honor of the father of the founder of the 300 M, Georg Weber should. Therefore, “Georg Weber 1808-1888” is written on the sandstone. (Kind communication from Dr. Franz Werner, 2012)
