Paleis Het Loo used to be the royal palace and is located on the outskirts of Apeldoorn and surrounded by nature. Today it is a museum. Check the website in advance for opening times.

Since the renovation, the palace can again be visited on two audio tour routes (+ a family variant). Be sure to plan for the dangling onto the roof, which is now normally accessible.
