In the Hostaš gardens is the monument to the victims of communist arbitrary rule by Olbram Zoubek. Originally, it was a tin sculpture of a woman, but after it was destroyed by unknown perpetrators, the figure was recast in bronze. The memorial was first unveiled on May 22, 1993.
