The church dates from 1827. The church, built in the classicist style, stands on the site of a chapel already mentioned in 1716. The village, which counts around fifty inhabitants, was an independent municipality, but was incorporated into the municipality of Černíkov on January 1, 1985. Slavíkovice was first mentioned in 1379. When the St. Joseph's Church was built in 1827, the village counted 494 inhabitants. This was the historical peak.
