The Alm has a size of 56 km ², located at an altitude of 1680 m s.l.m. to 2350 m s.l.m., and is one of the largest closed plateaus in the Alps. The Schlern, the Roterdspitze and the Rosszähne delimit the Alpe di Siusi to the southwest. To the southeast, the striking mountain massif of the Langkofelgruppe joins. Towards the north, the Alpe di Siusi falls behind the Randerhebungen Puflatsch and Pizberg to Val Gardena. In the west, the area sinks over the upstream Schlern area towards Eisacktal.

Great view of Schlern and Alpe di Siusi. This magnificent panorama is certainly one of the highlights on our tour of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto.

Great view of the 56 km² largest high plateau in Europe and the symbol of South Tyrol: the Sciliar (2,563 m).
