Hiking
The Pettstadt ferry connection can be traced back to the 14th century. As a punt ferry, it is propelled motorlessly across the river by the current, hanging on a steel cable. However, you should definitely inquire about the ferry times beforehand, otherwise you will be forced to turn back. We hiked during the winter months; there is no ferry service at all then. Normally, it operates from March 1st to October 31st from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
