Wild Animal Park Edersee

Red, mackerel and fallow deer move freely. In large-scale enclosures, black, red, capricorn, wolf, lynx, bison, wild horse, eagle owl, grouse and black grouse as well as raccoons are found in largely natural surroundings. Otters are other "stars" of the park.

In the middle of the Wild Animal Park is a griffin waiting area. In addition to native birds such as golden eagle, peregrine falcon, eagle owl and Milan, you can admire griffon vulture, luger and saker falcon in aviaries.
A special attraction is the birds of prey show with daily demonstrations at 11.00 and 15.00 (except Mondays). The flight demonstrations are weather dependent and can be found from 1.3. until 15.11. instead of.
Please note: Dogs are generally not allowed in the game park because of the free-roaming animals.

The trail to WildtierPark is signposted from Hemfurth-Edersee. From the Sperrmauer you can also reach the WildtierPark on foot.
