Wild Animal Park EderseeRed, mackerel and fallow deer move freely. In large-scale enclosures, black, red, capricorn, wolf, lynx, bison, wild horse, eagle owl, grouse and black grouse as well as raccoons are found in largely natural surroundings. Otters are other "stars" of the park.In the middle of the Wild Animal Park is a griffin waiting area. In addition to native birds such as golden eagle, peregrine falcon, eagle owl and Milan, you can admire griffon vulture, luger and saker falcon in aviaries.
A special attraction is the birds of prey show with daily demonstrations at 11.00 and 15.00 (except Mondays). The flight demonstrations are weather dependent and can be found from 1.3. until 15.11. instead of.

While new wildlife is being created in the National Park, WildtierPark is contributing to the conservation of our wild animals.
In WildtierPark you can already familiarize yourself with local wildlife. In large enclosures live wolf, lynx and wild cat, bison, red deer and wild horse. The creeping lynx with its brush ears, the lively family otters in the cool water and the feeding of the mysterious wolf pack should not be missed in any case. The bird of prey show will be unforgettable. Against a magnificent backdrop of the Edersee, a golden eagle uses the updraft and turns elegantly into lofty heights. Griffon vulture and eagle owl glide with powerful wings over the heads of the fascinated visitors. Anyone who dares can pet the "King of the Night", the eagle owl.

The wildlife park is a worthwhile spare time in every season. Especially in spring. It is best to visit in the morning as the park is very popular.

The wildlife park is a worthwhile excursion or stage destination. The circular path is nicely laid out and the animal enclosures are easy to see and the griffon vultures that live on the vulture rock also like to go on excursions in the park on their own and suddenly sit next to you on the railing :-DThe beech house is also part of the zoo, where you can learn a lot about the beech forests typical of Hessen.
