The extensive complex of buildings "Herrenhof" belonged to the farmsteads of the town of Eger (today Cheb). They were possessions of the municipal administration since the second half of the 19th century. The almost 190-hectare Herrenhof in Seeberg was the second largest of its kind (after Höflas, today Dvorek). During the communist era of agricultural cooperatives, all buildings of the "Herrenhof" were used for animal husbandry until 1989. After extensive conversions and renovations, the building complex has been operating as "Kurhof Ostroh" (Lázeňský dvůr Ostroh) since 2018, offering accommodation with diverse medical and wellness services.
