The Lost Lake is part of the sprawling water system with many small lakes, wetlands, and creeks in Halfway Lake Provincial Park. The lake drains into Raven Lake, whose water flows into Halfway Lake. It lies hidden in the dense boreal forests; on the Hawk Ridge Trail one reaches a viewpoint on a massive granite rock several meters above the water line. The lake shore cannot be reached on the trail.
