Agios Nikolaos Harbor

Yes, from here the excursion boats go e.g. to Spinalonga. But if you are lucky (or bad luck if you think crusaders are the plague :), you can also experience how a fat cruise ship docks on the outside of the pier. It doesn't fit into the small port. I also find it impressive when every year on January 6th (with us: Holy Three Kings ") a service is first celebrated in the church and then a crowd of people draws to the harbor with music. Here the water is blessed and a cross is placed Thrown water. A school of fishing boats surround this place and the (mostly) young man who pulls it out is lucky this year (I have posted photos of it here).
