Amaltheia, according to Greek legend, was a nymph who raised the god Zeus with the milk of a goat. Her horn is considered a symbol of rich abundance, also known as the cornucopia.
An approximately 8-meter-high sculpture of this cornucopia can be found here at a small rest stop on the promenade. Beautiful effect against the sea and the bay.
