The Holzbachschlucht is a true natural wonder in the Hoher Westerwald! 🌲🏞️ Here, the Holzbach has carved its way through volcanic basalt over millennia, creating a fairytale-like, narrow valley with rock walls up to 30 meters high.
For hikers, there is a path along the stream – sturdy footwear is a must, as the stones are slippery and the terrain is wild and romantic. 🥾💦 The route is about 1.5 km long and can be explored in 45 minutes.
