Hiking Highlight
The name derives from the many caves (Oswaldhöhle, Wundershöhle, Doktorshöhle and Joke cave) which are located in the mountain. The tower is about 12 meters high.

The lookout tower, which consists of a steel and wood construction, is 522m high and was built in 2011, replacing an older tower that previously stood here. The tower is about 12m high.The tower or the mountain has two names 'Hohler Berg' and 'Hohes Kreuz'. The name 'Hohler Berg' comes from the fact that there are numerous caves around the mountain, meaning that the mountain below is 'hollow'.

Lookout tower at 522m. Great foresight! Attention because of Corona: Stairs and platform are very narrow. Many are therefore already queuing up and waiting for the predecessors to descend again.

Great view. all-round view. The whole thing is clouded by the cell phone mast in the immediate vicinity.
