This campsite sits on a sandy beach, with room for tents along the treeline, food caches, and an outhouse, and the river on the north side providing a freshwater source. What sets it apart from the neighbouring campsites is Darling Falls, a short walk up the river, where water pours through a narrow channel into a stunning emerald pool surrounded by deep rainforest. The campsite is much quieter than Michigan Creek and is widely regarded as the best along this stretch of the trail.
