The Kakushöhle is the larger of two caves in Kakusfelsen (Kartstein) at the Mechernicher district Dreimühlen. It is one of the largest open caves in the Eifel and part of the 1938 designated 5.8 ha nature reserve karst caves with Kakushöhle.Source: WikipediaEspecially in the summer, a short detour is worthwhile, as it is pleasantly cool in the cave. A kiosk in the parking lot in front of the cave invites you to strengthen yourself with a cool drink and a snack for the onward journey.
