The Kalvarienberg also has a long religious tradition and is closely associated with the Way of the Cross and the Holy Cross Monastery.

Hiking

A few steps above the chapel is an impressive scene of the Crucifixion of Christ with life-size crosses and figures. Standing in front of it and letting it sink in makes the theory a little more realistic. I've never seen anything like it anywhere before.
