The Martinsloch is about 19 meters wide and 22 meters high and is located in the Alpine chain of the Tschingelhörner. The breakthrough caused by geological faults is located at 2,600 meters altitude. In spring and autumn, the sun shines through the Martinsloch directly onto the town of Elm.
