The Bichlalm is the most beautiful mountain hut we've discovered on our many hikes. On sunny days, the terrace with its view of the Kitzbühel Alps is the perfect spot. The Bichlalm presents itself as sophisticated yet unpretentious, and the staff is very friendly. The food isn't more expensive than elsewhere and tastes excellent. The Bichlbahn chairlift takes you up and down in half an hour. You can also hike the 6 km. In winter, when there's enough snow, a snowcat transports people even higher up the mountain.
