On the mountain spur of the Waizenhofer Espan you can discover a prehistoric fortification in the form of an overgrown moat. In addition, one of the largest burial mound fields in Central Franconia is up here - a total of 35 burial mounds, some of which have a diameter of more than 15 meters.
