When driving behind the Dreisamtal village of Oberried through the Bruggatal along the stream of the same name, the Brugga, on the L126 in the direction of Notschrei, a short stop at the second hairpin bend is worthwhile. It's best to climb over the guardrail, away from traffic, onto the wide shoulder. At an altitude of about 660 to 680 m, you can let your gaze wander through the narrow Bruggatal, as well as over to the Feldberg, and perhaps take a nice photo. The route with its rock faces perhaps lends the area a touch of wildness and originality.
