Unfortunately, the castle and its outbuildings along with the museum were badly damaged during the 2002 flood and had to dry out. In the meantime, the buildings are gradually blooming in new splendor. The Heuriger “Haferkast'n” is located in one. The stone towers on the left and right were once connected to the palace complex; they served as lighting towers during the time of the wooden drift. The farm building can be seen a little to the side.
