The pond at Ziegelstadel in Stadtbergen is an idyllic spot located on the road to Deuringen, opposite the driving range, and is popular with locals and visitors alike. It serves as a habitat for endangered species such as the European minnow, the bleak, the roach, the rudd, and the three-spined stickleback, as well as for the kingfisher, which hunts here.
The pond is part of a natural environment with rich flora and fauna and was already described as being in grave danger in 2021, as the water had literally been drained away.
