On the path between the Haut-Geer nature reserve and the watermill, you have a view of the ruins of the former Hollogne Castle. Only a 17th-century tower and a 16th-century building remain. The castle itself was built in 1652 on the foundations of an old fortress. The site was designated a protected area in 1976.
The watermill ("Moulin Castral de Hollogne-sur-Geer") was once part of the castle.
