The Sundsvall parish center, the Kyrkans Hus (Church House), is an imposing building located opposite the Gustav Adolf Church. The community center was designed by the same architect, Gustav Hermansson. It was originally built as a school and completed in 1892. Until 1968, it housed the Sundsvall girls' school. Afterwards, it was taken over by the Sundsvall parish. Today, it contains the parish office, activities for children, youth, and families, as well as music and choir activities, and diaconal services.
